Another joint of Side Effekt's Heart Wars. I have to say, i'm very keen to check out the LP, both this and 'The Essence' were wonderful tracks and Nujabes/Dilla-esque production is always welcome. This track is also proof that you can never have too much vinyl crackle!

There hasn't been much instrumental Hip-Hop so far this year so Side Effekts's Heart Wars is a nice change of pace. 'The Essence' is from the aforementioned project and is a laid-back, soul inspired piece, in a similar vein to a lot of Nujabes (RIP) work. Really keen to hear someone lay a few verses over this as well.
