For those unfamiliar with MDMA you might remember him from Hi-Definition off Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. For what it is - a catchy single - it's quite good. At first i wasn't feeling just how 'Pop' MDMA's voice was but it grew on me after a couple of listens and 'The Audibles' did a reasonable job with the beat, creating something 'Pop' and catchy without quite producing a generic throwaway (though they certainly are straddling the line). Lupe, of course, steals the show and manages to put out a better verse on a radio-friendly first single than most MC's ever write in their life. After a little 4 bar warm up Lupe goes on to give a lesson on how to ride the fuck out of the beat. LASERS can't come soon enough!
